The assignment was to design a private library that accommodates 2000 books. My concept was, “Life is an open book.”  I designed the private library with a roof that looks like an open book, and the library represents life. The library has a café overlooking the river. Also, the site has a relaxing space across the river; visitors can reach it by a curved bridge. The total square footage is 1000 sq. ft.
